STEP 1. Select Your Product Type

Area Rug w/Glass
Wall‐to‐Wall Carpet w/Glass
STEP 2. Draw Dimensions
Create a basic outline of your rug or carpet. This can be drawn by hand or digitally drawn. We need the basic shape drawn and every side measured in inches. If you want an abnormal shape just give us an overall length and width and draw the shape. If you are getting a Wall‐to‐Wall carpet there are some great videos on YouTube of how to measure the floor of your room.
STEP 3. Create Design
You can get the design created using a graphic designer of your choice or you can purchase design work through Legendary Carpets.
Adobe Illustrator is our preferred file type but we can make almost any graphic design or CAD file
type work.
Legendary Carpets outsources design work to a very talented Graphic Design & Illustration company called The Akra Vision. The Akra Vision is responsible for creating the Legendary Carpets Logo, the Octopus Gaming Rug, the Anaconda Bedroom Carpet and Dave Portnoy’s Barstool Pizza Box Rug. You can see more of The Akra Vision’s work on their Instagram & Website.
If you are interested in purchasing design work through Legendary Carpets, we will send you a design request form to fill out. Once we have the form back, we will send you a quote for design work. Design complexity and size will determine the price for design work. When you are ready to
proceed we will send you an invoice for design work.
STEP 4. Send Estimate
Once we know the product type, dimensions, and have the design file, we will send you an estimate for the rug or carpet. Estimates will assume 100% wool for the fiber. We will analyze your design and quote the production methods that are available for your design. If multiple production options are available for your design we will quote all options and let you decide which one you want. Shipping will be included on the estimate if the final destination is known. If you are getting a Wall‐to‐Wall carpet we will ask if you want installation included on the estimate.
STEP 5. Final Details
Once the estimate is approved we will schedule a web meeting or phone call to finalize the details of the carpet.
Final Details will include selecting cut-pile vs loop-pile carpet, color, fiber, carving, glass (if applicable), and other customization options.
STEP 6. Create Sample
After we finalize the details of the carpet we will create a 1×1 foot sample of your rug or carpet and send it to you. This step is optional but we encourage it because we want you to see the product you are getting before we manufacture it. Any last minute changes can be made at this step.
STEP 7. Invoice & Production
Once the sample is approved we will send you a final invoice. The lead time will be included on the final invoice. Payment terms for custom orders are 50% deposit, 50% due before shipping. When the deposit is paid we will release the order to production. When your product is almost done we will reach out to coordinate shipping and collect final payment.
